Quick Start Guide

Creating an Account
To get started, you'll need to create a free account:
- Click "Register" in the navigation bar
- Fill in your username, email, and password
- Verify your email address (check your inbox)
- Log in and start generating policies!
User Profile
Complete your user profile to auto-fill common information in policy generators:
- Company name
- Company address
- Website URL
- Contact email
- Jurisdiction
Access your profile from "My Panel" → "My Profile".
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
For enhanced security, enable 2FA in your profile settings. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account.
Generating Policies
Step-by-Step Process
- Select a Policy Type: Browse the Generators page and click on a policy type
- Navigate Through Steps: The questionnaire is organized into logical steps:

- Answer Questions: Fill out all required questions (marked with *)
- Use Help Icons: Click the icon for guidance on each question
- Select Format: Choose TXT, HTML, or PDF output format
- Generate: Click "Generate Policy Document" to create your policy

- Text Input: Enter specific information like company name or website URL
- Textarea: Provide detailed descriptions or explanations
- Yes/No: Answer binary questions about your service
- Select: Choose from predefined options

Managing Policies
User Panel
Access all your generated policies from the "My Panel" page. Here you can:
- View all your generated policies
- See when each policy was created
- Download policies in different formats
- Delete policies you no longer need
Downloading Policies
You can download your policies in multiple formats:
- TXT: Plain text format, easy to edit
- HTML: Formatted HTML with styling and "Powered by TermsPilot" branding
- PDF: Professional PDF document ready for printing or sharing
Editing Policies
To make changes to a policy, you'll need to generate a new version. We recommend keeping previous versions for your records.

Your policies are stored indefinitely in your account. You can delete them at any time from your User Panel.

Yes! We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All passwords are hashed, and we never share your information with third parties.
Can I use policies for multiple websites?
Yes! You can generate separate policies for each website or service. Simply create a new policy and customize it for each use case.
Do I need to update my policies?
Yes, policies should be reviewed and updated periodically, especially when:

- New laws or regulations are enacted
